Africa’s rare wildlife captured … on camera – ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

Although Namibia is a relatively new country, achieving independence in 1990, it is the first in Africa to incorporate protection of the environment in its constitution. But some of its wildlife are under threat. To raise awareness about the dangers they face, photographer Will Burrard-Lucas teamed up with carnivore researcher Lise Hanssen for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to capture on camera these rarely seen locals. The ABC spoke to Burrard-Lucas about his experience.
